      China Medical University is the earliest institution founded by the Communist Party of China. Its predecessor was the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Medical School and the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Health School, founded in November 1931 in Ruijin, Jiangxi Province。The University is the only university that completed the 25,000 li Long March of the Red Army in the name of a school and continued to run schools during the Long March, and it is also one of the earliest medical universities in China to carry out Western-style medical education。1940年在延安，由毛泽东同志提议正式更名为China Medical University。1948 The former National Shenyang Medical College (established in 1911) was taken over and merged with the former private Liaoning Medical College (established in 1883) in 1949.。The university is a former Ministry of Health affiliated university, in 2000 transferred to the Liaoning Provincial People's government management。
